We are a pre-k to 12th-grade non-denominational christian school with small classes, vibrant fine arts, diverse activities, and a passionate eagles athletics community. Early childhood education

At BHCS your child will not only grow in faith but also academically. Our Pre-K program is designed to build foundational skills that make the transition to Kindergarten seamless. Each day begins with a warm greeting from their teacher, followed by a variety of activities that promote fine motor skills, independence, and social-emotional growth—ensuring your child thrives in all areas of development.

BHCS offers a Christ-centered environment where children build friendships, learn the importance of service, and engage in hands-on learning through exploration, all while having fun! Teachers model Christian values of love, kindness, and respect, guiding students through Bible stories and the importance of prayer. With a balanced approach, we nurture spiritual, emotional, and academic growth, preparing your child for kindergarten and beyond.

Elementary school

In elementary school, students build upon their foundational knowledge, engaging in core subjects with a focus on critical thinking and spiritual understanding, fostering a love for learning. We foster hands-on learning to engage students in learning activities.

Bible. Our desire is that the reading, studying, understanding and application of God’s Word will lead each student into a greater appreciation of their heritage and enhance their walk with Christ.
Language Arts. English develops communication skills in phonics, reading, writing, speaking, and listening, helping students become confident, articulate, and persuasive. Science. Primary grades focus on the days of Creation, helping students understand God’s design in Genesis 1. In secondary grades, students study Chemistry, Astronomy, and Anatomy. History. Studying history, including World War I and II, inventors, ancient civilizations, and the Middle Ages, from a biblical worldview. Math. Mathematics skills focus ondeveloping essential skills like problem solving, analytical thinking, and logical reasoning, preparing students for success beyond the classroom. Specials. Specials include library/technology center, art, music, STEM, physical education.

Middle school

Our middle school curriculum challenges students with advanced academics and leadership opportunities, guiding them to develop their unique gifts and talents in service to God and others. As teachers, we also aim to promote social and emotional development.

Students can engage in unique electives like caring for exotic creatures in Animal Care, learning money management in Business 101, and mastering grilling and survival skills in BBQ and Outdoor Living. They can also explore the histories of ancient Greece, Rome, and the Vikings. All Middle School students participate in “Managing the Middle,” an elective that builds organization, time management, and study skills. Building community is a cornerstone of our culture at BHCS. We desire to foster a sense of belonging among our students through key programming and events. Our students are surrounded by fully engaged role models who are deeply invested in understanding each child’s strengths, gaps, struggles, and interests.

High school

High school teachers at Blessed Hearts strive to prepare students for college and beyond, offering rigorous academics, extracurricular activities, and spiritual formation to shape compassionate, respon-sible leaders.

If your high schooler is interested in the arts, we have talented teachers who lead robust programs in music, theater, visual, and digital arts. Plus, we offer 8 competitive sports and numerous clubs and programs for students to practice their leadership skills and dive deeper into their interests. Your teen might enjoy plugging into our on-campus 4H program, exploring cybersecurity in CyberPatriot, practicing extreme knitting, or serving in Worship Arts. Seniors receive individual support with college applications, workshops on scholarships and financial aid, and comprehensive college-ready checklists. urriculum draws out the best in each student. We personalize education by offering AP courses and dual credit for students who want to level up their academics — and by giving academic support and tutoring where needed. At each grade level, additional analytical thinking is required so teens are ready for college and careers.
